The Louisiana National Guard Foundation exists to serve local military and their families. The Foundation’s work supports the federal missions of the Louisiana National Guard (LANG) to provide trained and ready soldiers, airmen, and units for deployment in support of national military objectives.
On the state level, Louisiana National Guard servicemen ensure domestic tranquility by saving lives and property and defending Louisiana. This includes being on the ground during recovery after natural disasters. LANG’s mission within local communities is to enhance community relationships and provide mutually beneficial support.
