The Louisiana National Guard Foundation exists to serve local military and their families, as well as the general public. The Foundation’s work supports the federal missions of the Louisiana National Guard (LANG) to provide trained and ready soldiers, airmen, and units for deployment in support of national military objectives.
On the state level, Louisiana National Guard servicemen ensure domestic tranquility by saving lives and property and defending Louisiana. This includes being on the ground during recovery after natural disasters. LANG’s mission within local communities is to enhance community relationships and provide mutually beneficial support.
In protecting our citizens at home or in defending our freedom overseas, the Louisiana National Guard is always ready to put the citizens and our nation first.
In turn, it is our turn to put them first. This can be accomplished by giving to the LANG Foundation. Through our mission, projects, emergency relief fund, scholarship program or in support of the heritage of the Guard through the Museums, we are able to give back to the ones that deserve the most, our citizen soldiers.
Please join us in supporting the 11,000 citizen soldiers of the Louisiana National Guard Foundation today.
