The Foundation has enriched the lives of many. Here are some of their own words:

Randy Treiber - Age 16

To The Lang Foundation,

I am writing to Thank You for the computer you sent Randy Treiber.

When he was 15 he was in a car accident he was in the back seat not wearing a seat belt riding with his friends. They hit another car head on. Randy received Traumatic Brain Injury. Which changed his life forever. And ours too. He was in the hospital for 10 months after the accident it was a miracle he survived. He had a lot of medical complications besides the Head Injury. It will be 6 years March 25 since the accident and he is still getting better. He can walk with help he has a gait trainer that he uses to walk. He is in a wheel chair. He receives Speech Therapy and also has a tracheostomy and feeding tube. He is starting to eat soft foods. Randy can't talk yet but he is still working toward the day he will be able to talk. We feel a computer helps him to focus and its good hand and eye coordination and problem solving thinking techniques. We really appreciate the Foundation helping Randy to get this computer. He will benefit greatly from working on this computer.

Also the big screen monitor is great for his vision.

Thanks again Very Much,

Randy Treiber

Jack Robinson - Age 18

The Lang Foundation:

My son, Jack Robinson, III, recently received a gift computer with voice-activated software from your Foundation. I have been remiss in thanking the Foundation for this wonderful contribution toward Jack's well-being. It has given him the best possible means to date for a quality life-style as a quadriplegic. Since his accident a year ago, the most difficult challenge has been how to alleviate and/or manage his depression. The computer serves-more than anything-to redirect his attention from enduring emotional distress to being active, to reaching out and communicating, and to being creative. It has afforded him his greatest sense of self-help and independence.

Both Jack and I are truly grateful to Mr. Lang for his insight and generosity. We also cherish the caring concern and assistance of Bonnie Evans of Kessler Rehab Institute, who directed us to The Lang foundation.

With deep gratitude,

Irene Queen-Robinson

Kawika Cornelius - Age 22

To The Lang Foundation,

Thank you so much for the laptop computer. This computer has been a blessing since the day that I received it. It's amazing what the Dragon NaturallySpeaking program enables you to do. I'm able to use the Internet, download programs, e-mail. I'm able to use software programs, the PC study Bible, WordPerfect, music videos etc.. It's no doubt the blessing that you have been to many people. There is possible college work ahead for me, my heart is to minister the Gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ. Thank you so much again, I pray that the Lord would bless you and provide all that you need, to keep the Lang foundation going.

Sincerely,

Kawika
